...its was our Christmas club event...
Christmas trip to Bromley Quasar Date: Sunday 29th November It was a rainy afternoon but spirits were raised for all those who took part in our Christmas event at the Bromley Quasar centre. 36 people put on their packs and energised their guns as they entered the battle zone. Lights flashed and screams pieced the air then the giggles started... Adults and children started running about (clearly against the rules) as everyone became 'Big Kids' shooting one another and the bases. The fun lasted for 30 minutes and then we all piled out into the reception to see the scores.... Red team was victorious! Well done to everyone who played. Red team top gun was Stuart Low and Blue team top gun was Marcus. Next was our Christmas raffle with 10 prizes and also a chocolate bar for all those who played.
Next even will be 10 Pin Bowling in February... see you there.

Weekend diving trip to Swanage 22nd and 23rd July 2006 The club held a trip down to Swanage for a few of its members. This trip was special for one of us as it was his first open water experience and who also became the youngest club member to go open water with the club. Caleb is just 6 years old but still managed to perform some surface snorkelling with Stefan. The day started quite interestingly as we all got changed in the car park where we were treated to a thunder and lightning storm and some of the heaviest rain you can imagen. But this didn't put us off as the sun soon came back out and brightened the day (a typical British summer !). Down for the dive was also Ryan and Jack, two of the clubs assistant instructors. The plan was for them to dive in the same area as Caleb and Stefan in the shallow water before diving the pier with Stefan. This plan was then carried out with the parents looking on from the shore. Caleb did fantastic as he looked underwater and saw some fish swimming around him which he proudly shared with his mother when the dive was over. Ryan and Jack enjoyed a couple of shallow dives before they finally dived the pier with Stefan. With visibility being particularly excellent it made the dive a very pleasant experience and finding the marine life was made easy.
Dive Information. Air temp. 25oC, bright and clear sky Water visibility 10m around the pier and typically a couple of metres nearer the shore. Sea state calm, wind gentle Easterly.
Times.
