The basic equipment we use comprises of Mask, Fins and Snorkel. See below for a brief description...
The Mask
Lets us see underwater by providing us with an air space in front of our eyes so we can see properly. However, using a mask makes things look 1/3 larger under water !
Fins
Help us move through the water by pushing more water that our feet can each time we move our legs. It is important to keep out legs straight so we are efficient and not use up all our energy.
Snorkel
Some people think we can breath through the snorkel when we are under water but this is not so. It just lets us breath at the surface while our face in underwater looking at all the exciting things that are happening around us.
